The Fantasy Life Online western release is upon us, and Boltrend released the English closed beta dates. Starting on October 28, 2021, people will be able to test it out. However, in order to temporarily play, someone would have to be in Argentina, Australia, Canada, Finland, Malaysia, or Romania. Sometime after that, the worldwide release will occur.

As a reminder, Fantasy Life Online is the mobile game based on Level-5’s Fantasy Life series. Your goal is to go through a typical JRPG fantasy world. However, you choose how you live your life and what you do. The series is known for having classes covering a wide range of professions. While the typical warrior types are the Hunter, Mercenary, Paladin, and Wizard, there are also crafting and life classes. So someone could be an Alchemist, Angler, Blacksmith, Carpenter, Cook, Miner, Tailor, or Woodcutter. You improve yourself by interacting with notable NPCs affiliated with the same classes as you. The mobile game also involves a village-building component and multiplayer.

The game launched in Japan in July 2018. There, over three million people ended up playing. There also ended up being collaboration events, with one involving Yokai Watch and FFXIV.

The Fantasy Life Online English closed beta will run October 28, 2021 through November 5, 2021. There’s no release date for the worldwide launch. However, the Fantasy Life Online western release is on the way.
