The original Final Fight has three playable characters but only allows for two-player gameplay, and recently fans have been working on a mod for the game that will allow for three people to play the classic beat ‘em up at the same time.
While the mod is still in development, the game has been made to support three players, with additional health bars, AI, scene transitions and the like added in. The mod has also been made to work on actual CPS1 hardware. While the mod is in a playable state, it’ll be a bit longer before this mod comes out, as it still needs to go through bug fixing and cleanup.
