Military strategy game Super Famicom Wars, previously only available in Japanese in Japan, has received an English translation thanks to some dedicated fans.
Super Famicom Wars features four armies at war, with players guiding units through grid-based combat. It had originally only been released through the Nintendo Power re-writable cartridge system, but has since seen releases on the Wii and Wii U virtual console in Japan. Now, with this translation, English speakers can play through this earlier entry in the Wars series.
The developers of the translation warn that there may be some issues with how it runs, but that players can get in contact with them about any issues they have through information included with the translation download.
