Turn-based Famicom RPG Ganbare Goemon Gaiden: Kieta Ougon Kiseru (Ganbare Goemon Gaiden: The Missing Golden Pipe in English) tells a story of when Goemon’s golden pipe went missing, with he and Ebisumaru setting out across Japan to find it.

Players will explore towns, find new equipment, help out townsfolk who have quests for them to complete, meet new friends (like Yae), and deal with many, many puns along the way.

Fans have provided an English translation for the game on Romhacking.net, letting many players experience another one of Goemon’s silly adventures for the first time. This translation covers the majority of the game save for the credits.
