Famitsu and Dengeki Kick off Their Own Game Awards for Fans to Vote on 2019’s Best Games

Kadokawa Game Linkage announced the Famitsu Dengeki Game Awards 2019. From now until February 17, 2020, at 11:59pm JST, fans can vote for their favorite games of 2019.

The winners of the Famitsu Dengeki Game Awards 2019 will be announced on a special stage at Tokaigi 2020. The event takes place on April 18, 2020, at the Makuhari Messe convention center in Chiba Prefecture. In addition to the winners’ announcement, they’ll have guests for a talk show and various other events.

It should be interesting to see how it compares to The Game Awards 2019 which saw Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice take home the GOTY award.
