Falcom has a habit of re-releasing games in bundle packs for Japan. This Legend of Heroes package is particularly interesting because it comes in a shiny gold box and I believe it’s the only video game bundle with the Japan Game Awards on the cover.
Each year CESA (Computer Entertainment Supplier’s Association) evaluates titles and awards a handful of games the Future Award. Games in this category have not been released, but are deemed by CESA as promising titles that were exhibited at Tokyo Game Show. Prior to their launch, The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Zero and The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Blue were Future Award recipients.
The title of this package is Japan Game Awards W (read as "double") Prize Winning Commemoration Trails of Zero & Blue Gold Set. Fans that missed both titles can pick up this package on December 15 for 12,180 yen ($156).
