Last year, we reported that Falcom had plans to expand the Trails in the Sky brand in Japan through manga, anime and drama CDs; something they revealed in a company financial report. Now, we have a few more details on the anime series.
The Trails in the Sky anime will be produced by Japanese anime studio, Kinema Citrus, responsible for working on series such as Tokyo Magnitude and the Eureka Seven – Good Night, Sleep Tight, Young Lovers movie. Directing the series will be Masaki Tachibana, who directed the .hack//Quantum OVA.
Meanwhile, the script for the series is being penned by Makoto Uezu, responsible for writing Utawarerumono and character design responsibilities fall to Atsuko Nozaki, who designed the characters for Tokyo Magnitude.
No timeframe for when the Trails in the Sky anime will air has been revealed yet.
