Falcom Has Big Hopes For Next Trails Series Title

Buried in Falcom’s financial report was a tidbit about the next game in the Trails in the Sky series. The report reads the long awaited continuation in the Trails in the Sky, Trails of Zero, and Trails of Blue series will go on sale. Falcom expects the next Trails title will drastically increase their revenue and profit.

The information was on a slide that mentions plans for September 2013 and their September 2013 earnings forecast. During that period Falcom expects a 34% increase in sales, 46% increase in operating profit, and 38% increase in net profit.

When Siliconera asked president Toshihiro Kondo about the next Trails title he said, “We are taking a lot of care to make sure it is the best one yet. In terms of graphics, it is going to be a big enough upgrade where just one glance people are going to be able to say, ‘Wow, Falcom has really upgraded the Trails series.’”
