Fafnir Will Return in SMT V Too

Atlus revealed the next Shin Megami Tensei V demon. As is common, it’s someone people familiar with the series will know. Fafnir will be back for SMT V.

Fafnir is a character whose appearance often changes from one SMT game to the next. His SMT V appearance is most closely tied to his looks in both Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers and Persona 5. His “voice” also has a robotic edge.

Here’s the SMT V Fafnir trailer. It begins with a summoning. Then, we see Fafnir in the wild. After that, it heads into battle against Decarabia.

As usual, the end of the video offers a hint at the next demon’s showcase. On June 30, 2021, people will get a chance to see how Mothman will look in SMT V.
