The Labyrinth of Grisaia had previously delved into Yuuji’s history, but this story deals with his time with Asako, a CIRS agent that had rescued him from a terrorist organization at a young age.

The Afterglow of Grisaia had previously only been released as a bonus for volume 5 of the Eden of Grisaia anime adaptation. The developers recommend playing The Labyrinth of Grisaia before getting into this title.
