Experience’s Dungeon RPG Yomi wo Saku Hana Will Finally Be Released in Early Summer 2020

Yomi wo Saku Hana

At the very end of 2019, Experience announced in 4Gamer‘s End of Year talk that the company would be finally releasing the Xbox One-exclusive dungeon-crawler Yomi wo Saku Hana in 2020. Now, it was revealed that the game will finally come out in early Summer 2020. The game was announced back in 2016 as a hack ‘n slash title, before being changed into a dungeon-crawler. It was then delayed over and over until 2020. [Thanks, Game’s Talk!]

Yomi wo Saku Hana is set in the same universe as Experience’s previous dungeon-crawler Students of the Round, but takes place in the far-east. A battle against “The King of the Netherworld” is about to take place. Around 10 years ago, a giant structure known as “Yomi” appeared, and soon it was discovered that there were energy sources humans could use inside. In order to excavate more of the resource and to protect the miners from dangerous creatures living inside Yomi, soon it became popular to hire Underground Explorers skilled in fighting.

However, as its popularity as an energy source plummeted, the businesses set up to support the industry did so too. In the midst of this, a certain company named Cassandra Co. suddenly began recruiting Underground Explorers for hefty fees. However, due to the shrinking pool of talent of hardy, rugged workers who had been mostly scooped up by other companies, Cassandra Co. decided to recruit younger teens and women, which had been an untapped pool of talent until now. The newly formed Underground Explorers head out into Yomi, not knowing that an even greater danger than expected awaits within.

Yomi wo Saku Hana will release exclusively for the Xbox One in early Summer 2020.
