Evolve A Single Pixel Into A 32-Bit Boy In The Adventures Of Pip, Coming To Consoles And PC In May

Tic Toc Games has announced that action platformer The Adventures of Pip will be out in May on PC, Wii U, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Xbox 360.

It’s a game about a boy called Pip who starts out life as a single red pixel in a 32-bit world. Fortunately for Pip, he has the ability to absorb more pixels from defeated enemies, and so he sets out to make a Pinocchio-like transformation by becoming a real boy.

Not only does his journey involve battling the Skeleton Queen’s minions, Pip also has to solve puzzles using the abilities that his three new forms give him, before eventually rescuing the kidnapped princess.

The Adventures of Pip was successfully funded on Kickstarter in October last year. It features a soundtrack by composer Jake “virt” Kaufman, who also worked on Shovel Knight, Shantae and the Pirates Curse, Bloodrayne: Betrayal, among other games.

Tic Toc released some new screenshots of The Adventures of Pip to go alongside the announcement. You can see those below (and the one above).
