Like Eve: Burst Error, Eve: Rebirth Terror is split into two chapters following Kojiro Amagi and Marina Hojo respectively. More info was recently revealed regarding what challenges the two of them need to face in this new adventure, and the game has also been confirmed to come out on April 25, 2019. [Thanks, 4Gamer!]
Story
One year after the Burst Error case.
Their destinies are about to bring about another tragedy…
Kojiro Chapter
The Amagi Detective Agency is just as unpopular as it was before. With a talented assistant joining the team, they are able to bring in simple cases that earns them just about enough, but these cases aren’t enough to satisfy Kojiro’s detective skills, and he spends each day in tedium.
One day, a request comes in for him to investigate a teacher who has gone missing from Yale International School, a place he’s very familiar with. He accepts this mysterious case, which gives off a shady feeling that he hasn’t felt in quite some time…
Marina Chapter
Marina is a legendary agent who once boasted a 99% mission completion rate. However, after a certain incident presented some trouble, she left the workplace to rest thanks to seemingly being burnt out.
And now, just like one year ago, Marina is given a mission by the chief to reinvestigate a researcher who died in an unexplainable manner. At the same time, there are rumors that many assassins from overseas are gathering in Japan…
