Seeing as I’ve been dying for karaoke, and am actually going to one this week, I fail to see why I would be non-plussed at having to escape a karaoke room. But for those who can’t take the cacophony of screeching, there’s now a new Simple DL Series escape game.
Simple DL Series Vol. 31: Escape from the Secret Room: The Never-Ending Karaoke Parlor is the latest in the escape-a-room series. This time, the developers have paired up with popular real-world karaoke bar Pasela to mimic the look and feel of the place.
Interestingly, this time you’re not stuck there for some unfathomable reason. Instead, the story sets up Pasela as having begun running a limited time “Escape” event, where players have to try to escape the entire shop by themselves. You chose to take part, and you can’t give up or you’ll be the laugh of all your friends.
