Epic Mickey 2 is headed to the PlayStation Vita, Sony have announced on their European PlayStation blog. The game will be released later this year and will come with Vita-optimized controls as well as a two-player wi-fi co-op mode.

Just who is porting Epic Mickey 2 to the Vita is unknown as of now. The game’s original developer, Junction Point, were closed down by parent company Disney earlier in the year, following the game’s release and subsequent negative critical reception.

At the time, Disney stated: “These changes are part of our ongoing effort to address the fast-evolving gaming platforms and marketplace and to align resources against our key priorities.”
