English Shonen Jump Manga Subscription Price Will Go Up, Stop Accepting Paypal app

People will need to soon pay an extra $1 each month for one subscription service. Viz Media will raise the Shonen Jump manga app subscription price to $2.99 in January 2023. There’s no exact date as to when the price will increase, and the official site still shows the $1.99 price. Anime News Network reported that Paypal will also no longer be an option for payment. Right now, the Shonen Jump manga subscription service is available in 10 countries, with Australia, Canada, Ireland, the UK, the US, and New Zealand among them. If people pay the fee, they get access to both currently running series like Chainsaw Man, My Hero Academia, and Spy x Family, as well as older Shonen Jump series and ones Viz has access to like past JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure arcs. There is a free seven-day trial for each user, but after that someone most pay.

It is also possible to read some of the first chapters and most recent chapters of series on Viz’ official site.

This comes after four new series debuted in Shonen Jump. People can now also read Cipher Academy, Fabricant 100Ichigoki’s Under Control, and The Ichinose Family’s Deadly Sins.

The Shonen Jump app is available on Android and Apple iOS devices.
