Elden Ring Jacket Evokes Melina’s Cloak

Edwin Elden Ring Jacket

Japanese selvedge denim company Edwin is going to The Lands Between for some inspiration. It’s making a denim Elden Ring jacket inspired by the art and characters from the hit game. The collaboration was first teased in September 2022 and confirmed in October 2022. Now the products themselves have been shown, along with their expected pricing and release window [Thanks Game*Spark!].

The Edwin x Elden Ring jacket is the most distinctive piece of the crossover. It’s similar to a denim coat, with a large hood and a wide, triangular silhouette. It is modeled after the cloak worn by the character Melina. On the back is the design of the Golden Order. The jacket also has a patch with Melina on it, and the Edwin x Elden Ring collaboration in text.

Known as the Kindling Maiden, Melina is one of the first characters the Tarnished meets upon beginning the game. She forms an alliance with the maidenless player, unlocking the power of runes in exchange for an escort to the foot of the Erdtree.

Another piece in the Edwin x Elden Ring jacket collaboration is a bit more generic in form: A dark denim shirt. The shirt is emblazoned with the Golden Order symbol on the back, and a patch showing an image of Queen Marika and the Erdtree.

Both items in the Edwin x Elden Ring jacket collaboration will go on sale in Japan on November 15, 2022. They can be purchased from this site, which serves Japan as well as the US, EU, UK, China, and Hong Kong. The denim jacket will cost 21,780 Yen (about $148 USD) and the shirt costs 10,780 Yen (about $73 USD).
