Rabbit and Bear Studios took to Kickstarter to go over the distribution of Eiyuden Chronicle DLC codes, as well as address content cut from the final release like the Golden Cat and asynchronous gameplay. Many of the issues addressed are covered in a FAQs on the developer’s official site

There’s no release window for the add-ons yet. However, Rabbit and Bear confirmed that people who backed the Eiyuden Chronicle Kickstarter will get their DLC codes for it via Yetee Hub. The people who supported the crowdfunding campaign will get DLC 1-3. Once codes are ready, the developer will announce it via another update.

As for Eiyuden Chronicle cut content, these fall into completely absent elements like asynchronous gameplay and Golden Cat items or altered items like Citadel Defense and Ranking Mode. In the case of the completely absent items, asynchronous gameplay was removed when a Switch version was added and will never appear. The Golden Cat was omitted due to it being designed to be a “backer-only” item for castles. Citadel Defense was changed to Mock Battle. The Ranking Mode was scrapped when asynchronous gameplay was and replaced with personal rankings of heroes. It also noted how the citadel and flag customization were scaled back once the scope of the game and players’ bases increased.

Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes is available on the Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC, and DLC 1-3 are in development.
