Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes Update Says Premium Backers Contacted

The Rabbit and Bear Studios team shares details about what’s happening with Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes regularly, and the last update for 2022 arrived on Steam. This mainly involves wrap ups and well wishes from Director, Producer, and Writer Yoshitaka Murayama, Designer Junko Kawano, Art Director and Producer Junichi Murakami, and Director Osamu Komuta. However, it also confirmed the team is now contacting Kickstarter premium backers to add their custom content to Eiyuden Chronicle.

At certain tiers of the Eiyuden Chronicle Kickstarter, premium backers could end up getting a mention or element in the game as part of their rewards. For example, the ¥115,000
Enduring Requiem Redux tier would let people become “a random dead character.” The  ¥165,000 Food for Thought Redux one let people name a kind of food in-game. Ones like the ¥300,000 A Brush With Infamy would put a portrait of the person into the title. Kicking in ¥500,000 would put the backer’s face on a human-faced fish. Paying ¥165,000 would land someone at the Cat-tribution Meowdux, which would get their cat in the game. Both Murakami and Komuta’s messages said they are contacting those people now. Kawano also mentioned working on in-game food art, which could also tie into the “Food for Thought Redux” tier.

The last Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes update in November 2022 discussed Clarke, the theater, and the hot springs. The hot springs characters will have distinct sprites. Also, the theater in this game will be run by Clarke, and the different shows will actually be voiced.

Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes will appear on the PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC in 2023.
