Earth Defense Force 2017 Portable is out for the PlayStation Vita today, and D3 Publisher have released a launch trailer for the game, which you can watch below:

As previously detailed, Earth Defense Force 2017 Portable is a port of Earth Defense Force 2017, originally released in 2007 for the Xbox 360. The Vita version adds new missions, enemies, the return of the Pale Wing unit as a playable character, and also has co-op and versus multiplayer modes.

 

If you pick up Earth Defense Force 2017 Portable before February 4th, you’ll also get access to free DLC of four weapons—the Electro Paralyzer, the Heat Blaster, the Limit Booster and the Reverse Drone. After Feb 4th, each of those will cost $0.99 to download.
