JFI Games has added a new Guardian to their 3D beat ’em up Dusk Diver, although only exclusively on the Steam version for PC.
The new Guardian is Boss, who is an important NPC in the game who also happens to be the owner of the convenience store that protagonist Yang Yumo ends up working at. While Boss materializes in the human world as a cat-shaped guardian statue, it seems they’ll sidestep their limited movement by commandeering a mecha in combat.
Additionally, Simplified Chinese support has also been added, as well as support for increased camera movement speed. Some Super Armor points for bosses have been altered, and BGM volume has been optimized as well.
Dusk Diver is immediately available on PC, Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4. You can read our playtest here.
