DURARARA!!x2 Blu-Ray And DVD Coming to America This Fall

During their panel at Anime Expo, Aniplex of America Inc. announced that they’ll be releasing A Blu-ray and DVD collection of the first arc of DURARARA!!x2 in the west this September. Volume I is slated for release on September 29th, while Volume 2 is planned to be released on November 24th. The collections will be available in North, Central, and South America.

 

Many of the voice actors from the first season will be reprising their roles in the show’s second season. Among the returning talent is Kari Wahlgren, Darrel Guilbeau, Bryce Papenbrook, Michelle Ruff, Johnny Yong Bosch, Crispin Freeman, and Steve Blum.

 

The Volume I Blu-ray collection will cost $79.98, while the Volume I DVD collection will cost $49.98. Both versions of Volume I will contain the following:

 

  • Two discs featuring episodes 1-6 of DURARARA!!x2
  • Original Japanese and English Audio
  • English and Spanish subtitles
  • Bonus cast interview and text-free opening and ending sequence
  • 16-page Deluxe Booklet
  • Illustrated Postcards
  • Double-sided wraps featuring artwork by the show’s original character designer, Takahiro Kishida

Meanwhile, the Volume II Blu-ray collection and Volume II DVD Collection will cost as much as their Volume I counterparts, at $79.98 and $49.98, respectively. Volume II will include the following features:

  • Original Japanese and English Audio
  • English and Spanish subtitles
  • Bonus episode 4.5
  • 16-page Deluxe Booklet
  • Illustrated Postcards
