Dunk Lords is a two-on-two basketball game at its core, but with cyborgs, laser-shooting punks, and humanoid strawberries with game-changing powers thrown into the mix to add a bit of Smash Bros’ chaotic four player flare.
Players can choose from sixteen different ballers, each with an array of offensive abilities as well as basketball skills, using them to blast their opponents while also trying to finish a game of two-on-two basketball. Not only will the other players be out to beat them down using their powers and goofy equipment and items, but they’ll also have to deal with hazards in the environments.
Players will be able to do a local pick-up game with one to four players in Dunk Lords’ arcade mode. They can also play through the game’s story mode alone or in co-op, striving to become the best/most violent basketball player they can be.
Dunk Lords is set to release in early 2018.
