SoftStar’s free-to-play social MMORPG Dream of Mirror Online has returned thanks to new publisher SubaGames. It’s currently available to download on Steam and its website.

If you’re not familiar, Dream of Mirror Online was taken offline by publisher Aeria Games back in 2012. It was originally launched in Taiwan back in 2005 and eventually made its way to Thailand and North America before disappearing.

Last year, SubaGames piped up and said that it’d bring the game back for European and North American players, as it has now done. Since February 2015, Dream of Mirror Online has been in a beta state and now it’s back proper.

The game itself lets you loose in a world based on Chinese mythology. There are four different playable races to choose from, jobs to take on, professions to learn, and treasure hunts to go on on foot or with flying mounts if you prefer. Being a “social MMORPG” there’s a big focus on relationship building and so you can get married to other players, make friends and rivals, and become a student or a teacher.
