Dragon Quest: Your Story, the 3DCG movie that was announced by Square Enix to begin showing in Japan this summer, just got its first trailer. The trailer reveals the movie’s release date – August 2, 2019 in Japan.
The movie is based on the plot of Dragon Quest V, and will feature all three generations of heroes that was shown off in the game. It might also confirm who’s the canon wife. Takeru Satou has been confirmed as the voice of the main protagonist, Luka, with Kasumi Arimura, Haru, Kentarou Sakaguchi, and Takayuki Yamada voice acting the secondary characters Bianca, Nera (Flora in Japan), Prince Harry, and Pankraz (Papasu in Japan) respectively. As previously revealed, Kouichi Sugiyama is returning for music, and the trailer reveals that the Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra will be performing the music.
