People playing Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King on their Nintendo 3DS will notice story and gameplay changes. It has a quick-save function, as well as a Speed Up feature to make battles quicker. Morrie and Red have been added as new playable characters, with the former being a mix of a martial artist and minstrel, in terms of abilities, and the latter considered something of a thief. More dungeons and side quests are available. You can check in with Cameron Obscura in Port Prospect to get Cameron’s Codex to get rewards fro their photography and share pictures via StreetPass. There’s even an alternative ending.
