Dragon Quest Builders 2 Producer Says They’re Currently Working on a Different Game

Dragon Quest Builders 2 producer Takuma Shiraishi hinted that they’re working on something different. [Thanks, Ryokutya2089.]

Takuma Shiraishi is one of the two producers for Dragon Quest Builders 2 alongside Noriyoshi Fujimoto. Check out a couple of quotes from the latest issue of V-Jump below:

• Takuma Shiraishi, Producer: “We plan to hold a photo contest in 2020, too.”
• Takuma Shiraishi: “We’re making preparations for a game different from Dragon Quest Builders. Please wait just a little, er, actually a while longer, for an announcement.”

Dragon Quest Builders 2 is available for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The game first released in Japan in December 2018 on PS4 and Switch, followed by a worldwide release in July 2019. It more recently released on PC in December 2019.
