Dragon Quest 35th Anniversary Broadcast to Include Information on Latest Titles

Square Enix has announced a Dragon Quest 35th anniversary broadcast, which will include information on the latest titles in the series. The broadcast will stream through YouTube on May 27, 2021 at 12:00pm JST/5am CET. As mentioned previously, the Dragon Quest 35th anniversary broadcast will feature information regarding the latest titles in the series. This includes new information about upcoming titles, as indicated by the description on the English YouTube stream. The broadcast itself will stream in two parts, with the Japanese broadcast starting roughly thirty minutes before the English presentation. The first part of Japanese broadcast will feature information about already released Dragon Quest properties, with the second half lining up with the English broadcast.

Dragon Quest series creator Yuji Horii will appear during the second half of the broadcast. However, details regarding what could potentially be announced have not been revealed, outside of his involvement in the broadcast itself. This will feature a short talk show segment between Horii and moderator JOY.

Dragon Quest Island, a physical amusement park attraction, is currently set to open in Japan on May 15, 2021. This attraction will feature a plethora of Dragon Quest themed activities to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the series.
