Bandai Namco shared a new trailer that shows a battle between SSGSS Vegeta and Golden Frieza in anticipation of the “A New Power Awakens Part 2” DLC coming to Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot next week.

The gameplay footage demonstrates a battle between Vegeta and Frieza, who gain new powers in the DLC. Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta will have special attacks like “Ultimate Galick Gun” and “Ultimate Banish.” Meanwhile, Golden Frieza will also come with powered-up stats. He’ll also have new powerful moves like “Golden Death Ball,” “Golden Edge,” and “Golden Death Slicer” in his repertoire. Golden Frieza will appear as the boss character for the DLC story.
Additionally, A New Power Awakens Part 2 adds new horde battles that put the Z Warriors in a fight against over 100 enemies at a time. The mode is based on the Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection ‘F’ battle between the Z Warriors and the Frieza Force. It features the new “Z Combinations,” coordinated attacks with Support Characters, to help wipe out Frieza’s soldiers. You can check out screenshots of the horde battles and Z Combinations here.
Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam.
