Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Update New event and minions feature

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, the endless well of content, is about to get more new features in a free update that includes a new Martial Arts Tournament event, minions, and more. Bandai Namco shared new details in the latest issue of V-Jump. [Thanks, Ryokutya2089.]

The new event is called the “Conton City Martial Arts Tournament”. In this new event, players can score big prizes for playing and get even more prizes for following playthroughs. Your first time playing through the Conton City Martial Arts Tournament will get you a loading screen as a prize.

The second play of the Conton City Martial Arts Tournament will unlock the Supreme Kai of Time Chronoa as a playable character. You can read more details about Chronoa in our previous report. For your third playthrough of the event, you’ll get custom moves for Chronoa. This appears to be the only way to unlock Chronoa as a playable fighter.

The magazine revealed that a new raid is coming in the free Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 update. In this raid, you’ll be put to a test by Jiren and the Time Patrol. Additionally, a new loading screen customization feature will also be added in the update.

Lastly, the “CG Mascot” is a new minion feature, kind of like the one from Final Fantasy XIV. This basically allows you to have miniature versions Puar, Zen-Oh, Buu, Chaozu, and more follow you around with cute actions.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. The game received its last DLC, Ultra Pack 2, in December of last year.
