Dragon Ball Super Anime To Receive Manga Adaptation

Dragon Ball Super, the new Dragon Ball TV anime that is scheduled to air later this year, is getting a manga adaptation from author Toyotarō, V Jump magazine has announced. (Thanks, Anime News Network)

 

Dragon Ball creator Akira Toriyama is credited with the manga’s original story and V Jump says that Dragon Ball Super will launch in the August issue of the magazine.

 

Story details regarding Dragon Ball Super have yet to be announced, but we do know the series will take place after Goku brought peace back to Earth after the fight against Majin Buu. You can read more here.

 

The Dragon Ball Super anime will begin airing in Japan this July.
