Well, that was quick. Following a confirmation that the Doraemon Story of Seasons PS4 port would be getting an Asian English release on July 30, 2020, a worldwide launch was confirmed. Bandai Namco has confirmed people in both North America and Europe will also get to follow Noby and Doraemon as they experience life on their own farm as well. However, they’ll need to wait longer for it, as it won’t appear in both regions until September 4, 2020.
The release date for both regions was revealed via new trailers. If you’ve been following along with this new Bokujou Monogatari spin-off, then these videos for Doraemon Story of Seasons’ PS4 debut should look rather familiar.
In Doraemon Story of Seasons, Noby, Doraemon, and their friends end up being transported to another world after planting an unusual tree. All of Doraemon’s gadgets were lost in the process, so the kids and robot cat need to learn to find their way and adjust to a simpler way of life in a rural community. It’s very lowkey, with a focus on enjoying yourself and taking advantage of Story of Seasons quality of life adjustments to have fun helping Noby learn to run a farm.
People can immediately find Doraemon Story of Seasons on the Nintendo Switch and PC worldwide. The Doraemon Story of Seasons PS4 port will arrive in Japan and Asia on July 30, 2020, followed by the North American and European release on September 4, 2020.
