Doraemon steps up to bat on the DS

Forget about Famista DS, Dorabase DS is the baseball game from Namco Bandai that I’m interested in. The control scheme is intuitive, Dorabase DS relies on touch screen control instead of pressing buttons. When you bat you draw a line to smack the ball. If you draw a perfectly straight line you knock it forward, a diagonal line changes the direction you hit the ball. Pitching is controlled the same way. You draw a line from the top of the screen to the bottom and change the angle of the line to alter the throw.

Edit: I forgot to mention that Dorabase is coming out this year on December 20, 2007. It's going to have stiff competition from Final Fantasy IV that day and Famista DS comes out a month before. Ouch.
