If You Don’t Watch Out, Little Mac Can One-Hit K.O. You In Super Smash Bros.

Last week, Nintendo revealed Punch-Out!!’s Little Mac as a playable fighter in the new Super Smash Bros. game for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS. Following the reveal, director Masahiro Sakurai took to Miiverse to discuss some of Mac’s traits.

“His biggest feature is his Power Meter,” Sakurai wrote in a comment on Miiverse. “When this gets charged up, his standard special move changes! It turns into a one-hit-K.O. uppercut.”

In another comment posted today, Sakurai stated: “Little Mac can deliver some solid punches while fighting on the ground.”

Sakurai followed up by elaborating: “…However, he’s not the strongest fighter while airborne. Try keeping his feet on the ground and avoid being blasted into the air when you use him in battles.”

Super Smash Bros. is slated for release in 2014 on Wii U and Nintendo 3DS.
