Don Quixote will start selling big kigurumi parkas based on popular Pokemon from October 21, 2023. They’ll cost 3289 JPY (around $22) each. There are four variations in total. You’ll be able to buy a parka of Pikachu, Snorlax, Gengar, or Psyduck. [Thanks, Famitsu!]
Each parka is the color of the Pokemon it represents, with the hood being the only obvious Pokemon part. Snorlax is the exception, since the front of the parka has a lighter tan circle to represent Snorlax’s big belly. Since Don Quixote does not have a shipping option, you’ll need to directly visit a Don Quixote store in order to purchase a Pokemon kigurumi parka. They’re available while supplies last, so if you really want one, you should go get one as soon as possible.
Kigurumi onesies and parkas are usually something that people wear at home due to how comfortable they are. As well, most people past a certain age might not want to walk around wearing something as childish. Though they’re not available at Don Quixote, Pokemon Center stores in Japan will start selling Pokemon Sleep merchandise and plushes that people can use alongside the kigurumi parkas.
The Pokemon kigurumi parkas will start appearing in Don Quixote stores in Japan from October 21, 2023.
