Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis features a costume system, which allows for your to equip characters with outfits that are unique to the mobile game. However, with the title’s Gear system, some may be wondering if Gear Ticket outfits increase your stats in FFVII Ever Crisis. And the answer to this is a relatively clear one.

The short answer to this question is, yes. Because the Gear you obtain through using the Gear Tickets are 5-stars, they will increase your stats more than the standard gear you are given at the start of the game. All starting gear for FFVII Ever Crisis characters are 3-star items, which means that their stats are not as good, due to being lower rarity.
For example, Zack’s Valiant Suit has higher Boost ATK and Boost PDEF than his SOLDIER: Second Class Future Hero Gear. That said, his SOLDIER Gear does increase his Boost Crit. Potential by comparison to the Valiant Suit. So while the Gear obtained through Gear Tickets are better across the board, you can still use the Gear you are given at the start of the game with little issue.

Aerith, however, does have have her Healing potential boosted by the Gear obtained through the Gear Ticket system. So you will definitely want to take advantage of the free Gear Ticket you are given if you care about stats. If you don’t, then pick whatever outfit you like.
