DmC Devil May Cry Pushed To January, Also Coming To PC

Recommended Videos

Capcom have announced a release date for DmC Devil May Cry, the Ninja Theory-developed reboot of their stylish action series. Instead of sometime in 2012 as previously hinted at, DmC will be released on January 15th, 2013, for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. A PC version is in development, too, and will follow later in the year.

Additionally, we also get a few details on Dante’s sidekick, Kat. A former runaway who’s now part of an organization called The Order, Kat’s a psychic who can see into Limbo, the demon realm, but she can’t interact with it directly the way Dante can.

Kat is the devoted right hand agent of the leader of the The Order. They’re investigating Limbo, and Kat often puts her life at risk to gather intel on the demon realm for her leader. Dante and The Order appear to be working together in some capacity, too. Given Kat’s expertise regarding Limbo, she’s tasked with guiding Dante on his mission through the demon realm.

As previously reported, Capcom hope to sell 2 million copies of DmC Devil May Cry by the end of their ongoing fiscal year, which ends on March 31st, 2013.
