Square Enix announced new content for Dissidia Final Fantasy Opera Omnia in honor of the game’s anniversary. For a limited amount of time, players can receive gear for the character, Vincent. The gacha has a Shadow Blast LD weapon for him, which is appearing in the global version of the game first. You can also pay $36.99 for a bundle that includes in-game currency and a Dirge of Cerberus: FFVII Vincent costume that, again, is appearing in the global version before the Japanese one.

Editor’s Note: There are spoilers for Vincent Valentine’s past in Final Fantasy VII when his Dissidia FFOO costume is discussed.

Shadow Blast is available for Vincent through the in-game Campaign Draw gacha banner. This item enables the Satan Slam Shot ability, which will provide the Power of Chaos buff. As a result, MBRV, ATK, and DMG overflow will increase. It also deals poison damage to all enemies at the start of their turn. It will be available until March 2, 2021. You also get one 10+1 free pull on this banner, that also includes FFVIII‘s Ultimecia’s Hours BT weapon.

Here’s a trailer showing off his Shadow Blast gun.

As mentioned earlier, the extra costume is a Global-first, as well. It offers an alternate look for Vincent inspired by the Dirge of Cerberus: FFVII spin-off that explored his past and dealt with additional threats. He was once a Shinra Turk, just like Tseng, Reno, and Rude, and this outfit returns him to that uniform. It is paired with 9,000 gems as part of the limited-time bundle. Players have until 1:59 UTC on March 9, 2021 to obtain the item.

Dissidia Final Fantasy Opera Omnia is immediately available on both iOS and Android devices. Square Enix recently ran an event in the game featuring Sephiroth when the character was trending on Twitter back in December of 2020.
