Disney Dreamlight Valley Crossplay, Explained

Disney Dreamlight Valley is a massive Disney-themed Animal Crossing-like but available on nearly every major platform. As such, you might want to be able to play with friends and family across different consoles and PC. To this point, is there crossplay available for Disney Dreamlight Valley at this time?

Is There Crossplay in Disney Dreamlight Valley?

One of the best features about this charming Disney-themed game is its cross-save functionality. This has been in the game since its launch into early access, allowing you to carry over your cloud saves across platforms. I have, personally, used this to play across Xbox and Nintendo Switch.

But what about crossplay? Oddly enough, crossplay wasn’t available for the title at launch. This was due to the fact multiplayer wasn’t available in the first place. Thankfully, multiplayer is available now and so is crossplay. Yes, you are now able to play with friends who are on different platforms than you.

What Platforms Can Play Together?

Disney Dreamlight Valley crossplay has been around since the onset of multiplayer as an option for this game. The problem with it, however, is not every platform was able to play with one another initially. At first, PC, mobile, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch could hang out in the Valley with each other. As you can see, PS4 and PS5 were left out of the mix at first.

Fortunately, as of the Dapper Delights update, PlayStation now joins the fray as well. You can now enjoy crossplay with every single platform around. PS4 and PS5 can play with Xbox, Switch, mobile, and PC alike. There is now nothing stopping you from enjoying this game with anyone on any platform.
