Nippon Ichi announced at the end of their stream that to celebrate Disgaea: Hour of Darkness’ 15th anniversary, the game will be receiving an HD remake.

 

The HD Remake has no gameplay footage, but Nippon Ichi announced a release window of Summer 2018.

 

Disgaea: Hour of Darkness is currently available for PlayStation 2, PlayStation Portable, Nintendo DS, and PC. The HD remake does not have any announced platforms currently.
