Disgaea 7 Will Release in English Worldwide in 2023

During the NIS America 30th Anniversary showcase, Disgaea 7 and its English release came up. The title already launched in Japan on January 26, 2023. (There’s even a demo available.) However, now we know it will also come to North America and Europe in Fall 2023. Standard, deluxe, and limited editions will be available.

Thanks to Japanese announcement, we already know a number of the characters and story. In it, players follow a samurai named Fuji who is in search of seven legendary weapons. With them he can defeat the shogunate and bring Bushido back to the Netherworld. He’s joined in his quest by a young woman named Pirilika, as well as other warriors with reasons to want to topple the Demon Lord.

We also have an idea of some of the new elements headed to the game. For example, a new kind of class is the Maiko. There will also be a new Dodeka MAX gameplay system, which involves huge versions of characters appearing on the battlefield. It will be known as Jumbility in the localization.

As for the Disgaea 7 deluxe and limited editions, we know what will be in them. The deluxe version icnludes the game, a digital soundtrack, and a mini art book. The limited edition includes an art book, two disc soundtrack, steelbook case, Mini Byoubu acrylic art display, and a Yunomi tea cup.

Disgaea 7 is available on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5, in Japan, and it will appear in North America and Europe on all three platforms and the PC in Fall 2023.
