Did you catch the reappearance of two of Disgaea’s most familiar faces during the Disgaea 6 announcement. At the Nintendo Direct Mini September 2020 presentation, there were some possible “blink and you’ll miss it” moments in the trailer. If you went back to double check, though, you’d see Disgaea 6 Flonne and Laharl appearances were confirmed.
The two characters appear at the 46-second mark of the video. Each of them seem to be rocking their looks from after Disgaea, which suggests that Disgaea 6 comes after it in the series’ timeline.
In case you missed it, here’s that first trailer that even shows off the Disgaea 6 Flonne and Laharl debuts.
There are also two screenshots from the newly-opened official website. They give us a chance to see Flonne and Laharl using two of their skills in the game. Flonne used Love Knuckle! in her picture. As for Laharl, he is in the midst of performing an attack called Magma Gazer. (Also, in the featured image and trailer, Flonne uses Divine Ray.)
DIsgaea 6: Defiance of Destiny will come to the Nintendo Switch in Summer 2021, and it will be exclusive to the system. Both standard and limited editions will be available, though only the official NIS America storefront is carrying the collector’s edition.
