A new Disgaea 6 boss fight video shows the level 70,000 protagonist Zed challenge a level 8,000,000 God of Destruction. [Thanks, Famitsu.]

Before getting into the boss fight, Zed has to take out a few minions. Since these enemies are level 9999, the level 70,000 Zed essentially one-shots all of them. However, things go as poorly as expected when the zombie protagonist goes up against the God of Destruction. To be precise, this version of the God of Destruction is at level 8,000,040. Zed misses his 1% chance of hitting the boss and gets hit by a massive attack that deals close to 4 quadrillion damage.
Since Zed is a zombie, he has the unique ability “Super Reincarnation” to come back much stronger after each death. With base stats increasing for each reincarnation, Zed will eventually catch up to the God of Destruction. Keep in mind that the level cap is 99,999,999, so that means a whole lot of dying for Zed. However, don’t worry; you’ll get to play the game at up to 32x speed, so it won’t have to take so long.
Disgaea 6: Defiance of Destiny will release for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch in Japan on January 28, 2021. The game will release for the Switch in the West in Summer 2021.
