You may remember Nippon Ichi Software surprised Japan with the ten gentlemen, difficult to unlock extra playable characters, as downloadable content for Disgaea 3: Absence of Justice. We’re getting them in North America plus more downloadable content than I anticipated. NIS America announced they will also distribute have new maps, story chapters, and characters as future downloads for Disgaea 3.
Before you get your hopes up about unlocking Laharl, no specific “characters” were named. Also to curb enthusiasm a notch, NIS America may only be referring to the ten gentlemen when they mentioned downloadable characters.
No dates or prices were outlined, but Nippon Ichi Software, the parent company of NIS America, released the first downloadable content package for free. I’ll leave it to you guys and gals to speculate about the new story arcs and possible price tags until Disgaea 3: Absence of Justice comes out this August.
