Capcom and NebulaJoy have announced the release date for the Japanese version of Devil May Cry: Peak of Combat. People in Japan will be able to play the mobile game in their native language on April 11, 2024. [Thanks, 4Gamer!]
Peak of Combat has been available worldwide in English since January 10, 2024. The mobile game is primarily based on Devil May Cry 3, with the designs for Dante, Vergil, and Lady taken from the 2005 game. However, it also features Nero and V, who debuted in Devil May Cry 4 and 5 respectively, as playable characters.
Even though the Japanese version will be available three months later than the English release, people in Japan will still be able to enter matchmaking for Co-op and PvP modes with players worldwide. Players who newly join the game will also receive 50,000 Red Orbs, 50 Demonic Potions, and 200 Gems as over 1 million people have pre-registered.
The Japanese YouTube channel for Devil May Cry: Peak of Combat also has a new trailer published to mark the release date announcement. Although the actual date is not mentioned in the trailer itself, NebulaJoy did mention it in the video’s description box.
Devil May Cry: Peak of Combat is immediately available globally in English on Android and iOS devices. The Japanese version will be available on April 11, 2024.
