Detective Pikachu Returns Pokemon GO Begins This Week

Niantic announced that there will be a Detective Pikachu Returns event in Pokemon GO. It will begin on October 5, 2023. That’s the day before the sequel shows up on the Nintendo Switch. This means we’ll see Pikachus wearing detective hats in the game, as well as a Slowpoke in a hat. Also, Pokemon that will show up in the spin-off will appear more frequently. There will also be special Field Research with three sorts of Pokemon appearing.

The Alolan Exeggutor, Bronzor, Chimecho, Lotad, Magikarp, Pikachu, and Slowpoke could all be shiny.

There are also different types of research. As for the field research tasks, you can encounter Rowlet, Snivy, and Sudowoodo through them. The Snivy and Sudowoodo could both be shiny. People can laso take part in the Timed Research “Pokemon of Interest” Detective Pikachu Returns event in Pokemon GO

Finally, there’s a cosmetic to purchase. People will be able to buy a Detective Pikachu Avatar Pose. It shows their character holding a magnifying glass and looking through it.
