Cherrymochi has submitted 2D adventure game Tokyo Dark to Steam Greenlight. To go along with it, a new trailer has been released that shows some of the more recent work done on the game.

The studio says that it is feeling confident after it managed to get a 94 percent positive rating on the Square Enix Collective. And so, before going ahead with a crowdfunding effort, Cherrymochi would like to be able to guarantee Steam keys to its prospective backers. Hence the Greenlight campaign has been launched now.

If you need a reminder, Tokyo Dark follows Detective Itō as she investigates the disappearance of her partner. This leads her into the dark underground of Tokyo where the city’s urban myths reside. Itō is faced with challenges to her past and her sanity as she descends.

You’ll have to make choices that will affect Itō’s strengths and personality, solve environmental puzzles, and explore the game’s branching narrative filled with investigative moments and horror elements.
