Celeste was just about to complete her initiation into knighthood when a thief stole the item she was looking for, ruining her chances. Now, she has to track him down, finding allies, danger, and a hidden plot along the way in Destiny Chronicles, an action RPG in development.
Destiny Chronicles “features an exciting and fast-paced action combat system like that of Kingdom Hearts” according to the developers, having players fight in live 3D combat against its enemies. Players will also have access to a skill tree that offers various routes for Celeste’s combat style, allowing players to try different things to see what suits them. There will also be other party members who follow Celeste, but it is not known how they will work in combat at this time.
When not out combing through dungeons, exploring, or looking for the thief, players will be able to talk with their party members. Destiny Chronicles offers many optional conversations players can have with them, which will let them learn new things about the other characters and get to know them better.
Destiny Chronicles is early in development, but interested potential players can follow its creation by signing up to the mailing list on the game’s site.
