When Will Destiny 2 Servers Be Back Up (10am PDT to EST)

A Destiny 2 Server Maintenence has been scheduled for May 29, 2024, which means Bungie has purposely taken the game offline to work on the game. Thankfully, Bungie has given us a pretty clear schedule for when players can jump back into the online FPS again.

Destiny 2 Servers will be back up again at 10 AM PDT or 1 PM EST, with the game being fully playable at 12 PM. However, figuring out when this time will be for each region might be confusing. For your convenience, we have broken down when the Destiny 2 Servers will be back up in each region in the table below:

How to Check Destiny 2 Server Status?

As stated above, the Destiny 2 servers will technically be back up at 10 am PDT. However, according to Bungie, maintenance won’t fully be completed until 12 pm. So if you log in when the servers are back at 10 am, just know you may have to wait an hour or two until you can fully jump back into all of the game’s modes.

However, if you want to check the Destiny 2 Server Status, make sure to follow the official Bungie account on X. The social media page regularly updates and informs players the second the game goes offline or is back online.

Destiny 2 Error Code Bat But No Update

Once the update is finished, some players may run into the dreaded Destiny 2 Error Code Bat message. Unfortunately, this often happens following a major patch, and there isn’t really much you can do except wait for the game’s servers to sort themselves out.

There are a few steps you can take to fix it should the problem continue to persist. For a deeper breakdown, check out our What is Destiny 2 Error Code Bat? (& How to Fix It) guide. However, Destiny 2 Error Code Bat is usually a server issue following a major update and is something that will get fixed over time.

If you haven’t installed the update and are still getting the message, then you will need to completely delete Destiny 2 from your console. Do a fresh re-install with the new patch, and then wait for servers to be back online. And again, if you do get the Bat message, this is fairly common and will likely go away later tonight or tomorrow.

Destiny 2 is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
