While we wait for the Michael Bay explosion-filled movie later this year, DeNA have announced that they will be also releasing an official tie-in smartphone game with Transformers: Age of Extinction. This is a different game from Activision’s Transformer: Rise of the Dark Spark, which also ties into the movie.
The smartphone game is a 3D “combat runner game”, with the Autobots racing down the path and gunning down Decepticons in the way. You will be able to run, dash and change forms through a range of environments. On the roster of characters is Grimlock, the Dinobot leader, alongside Optimus Prime and Bumblebee.

Transformers: Age of Extinction will be out later this year on both iOS and Android.
